Katie Holmes, sick of rumors that hubby Tom Cruise has gone over the edge, has urged him to make another appearance on the Oprah show to repair recent damage to his celebrity image that resulted from his couch-jumping on a previous episode. Katie wants everyone to know that Tom is just a “regular guy” despite sometimes off-the-wall behavior. A friend reports that Katie is always watching out for Tom’s best interest, and that she was responsible for his recent apology to actress and post-partum depression sufferer, Brooke Shields. Figures. He wouldn’t have apologized to Brooke Shields if someone hadn’t pushed him into it. How nice.
And since when can one simply request to be on Oprah? Isn’t it kind of a Big Deal and you have to be invited?
Oh who am I kidding? OF COURSE Oprah will have him on again. It’ll be great for ratings!
