Here’s what actor Jude Law has to say about his dropped assault charges… and here’s what RTE has to say about the lawsuit
Actor Jude Law has been cleared of a charge of assaulting a photographer, according to his spokesperson.
The 34-year-old actor was arrested last September on suspicion of attacking a photographer outside his home in London.
A spokesperson for the actor said yesterday: "The police have told me that they and the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) have examined the photographer’s allegation extremely carefully and made the decision that there is no further action to be taken."

Kiefer Sutherland probably thinks American jail is for pussies compared to what he’s been through on 24…Never the less it looks like he’s going to be behind bars for longer than Paris Hilton:
TMZ has obtained the sentencing recommendations in the Kiefer Sutherland DUI case.
The sentence is complicated, but Kiefer will do 48 days in custody.
Kiefer will do 18 days for the probation violation, surrendering December 21. He will serve an additional 30 days for the current DUI and must complete that sentence by July 1.
