A live giant squid has been caught just south of Tokyo.
Japanese researchers captured a 24-foot-long squid earlier this month. But they believe this was the first time anyone has successfully filmed a living giant squid — which died in the process of being caught.
Researchers said it put up quite a fight.

I loved Michelle Trachtenberg when she was on the TV show Buffy but I haven’t liked much that she’s done since.  Yesterday she was at MTV’s TRL promoting her new movie "Black Christmas" that comes out in just a few days on Christmas.

Apparently Kim Jong Il (The Dictator of North Korea) is a big fan of Desperate Housewives.  Kim Jong, if you’re reading this could you please stop with the nuclear weapons?  It really freaks me out and I don’t think the neighbors of Wisteria Lane like it either.

Tonight is the first night of Channukah and my first holiday season living in Chicago!  I’ve been a bit busy these last few days making presents for friends, but I’m almost done so I’ll be posting lots more soon.  Here’s a picture of some Channukah gifts I got for my cousins:
